Travel Writing
Hi, I’m Lisa Kuhn. Creator of and travel writer for iLiveWhereIam.com, my travel site featuring US West Coast and international travel.
My travel writing experience includes authoring Matador Network’s Seattle Guides, where we take a look at this Pacific Northwest city’s neighborhoods, restaurants, bars, nightlife, accommodations, festivals, and more.

Going more in-depth with Seattle, I wrote, photographed, and designed my Seattle Visual Travel Guide eBook which takes you into nine of Seattle’s unique neighborhoods. I cover top sights, museums, shopping, parks, when to visit, where to stay, and how to get around. You can see it all with my 225 photos that are included in the ebook.
In 2015, I was shortlisted in the top 25 of 3,000 entries for World Nomads and Lonely Planet’s travel writing competition where the top prize was a 10-day travel writing road trip across the United States.
That same year, I also contributed video for a documentary about Argentina for dbate.de (Spiegel.tv).

– Robert Louis Stevenson
Photography
I’ve taken photographs for years, but mainly on the fly while traveling. In October 2021, I finally got serious about my photography. I primarily focus on nature and landscapes of the Western United States, though I’m looking toward to capturing more cityscapes in the future given my love of architecture. On the Personal Side
I live with my longtime honey and our beloved dog. I love hiking in the mountains, European-style architecture, and learning about other cultures. I also have a strong interest in the environment and human rights.
A native of Los Angeles, I spent a year traveling through the Western United States and can regularly be found roaming the West Coast. My international travels have taken me throughout Europe and South America exploring 30 cities on each continent.
