Peyto Lake is located in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It is a glacier-fed lake that gets its striking turquoise color from particles of rock flowing into the lake during the summer. Peyto Lake is 45km (28 miles) north of Lake Louise, 58km (36 miles) north of Moraine Lake and 100km (62 miles) south the Columbia Icefield (glacier) in Jasper National Park.
