Live Gypsy Jazz with Gonzalo Bergara Quartet – Culver City, CA

I first discovered Gonzalo Bergara Quartet at the Culver City Music Festival in July 2010. I was instantly taken with the band for their swinging gypsy jazz.

Watch the video below of the Gonzalo Bergara Quartet at the Culver City Music Festival.

I particularly enjoyed the tenor sax and clarinet work of Rob Hardt. There are two songs featured in the video – the second song “Simplicated” (beginning at time mark 1:57) features a sublime wandering clarinet from Rob at the 3:00 minute mark.
